Bidding Directory Concept

Thursday, November 1st, 2007

First off let us introduce to you the concept of Bidding Directory, the script it uses and how the design came about before moving onto the valuable resources you will find on our blog.

The concept behind Bidding Directory is pretty much similar to that of general paid directories whereby webmasters, SEO/SEM companies and advertising agencies are able to submit a website into a category that relates to, and is generally the same theme as the category the website is being submitted to.

At Bidding Directory, the added bonus of submitting a website is the advertising, traffic and exposure benefits a website can receive by placing a higher bid than other websites to appear higher in the relevant selected category, on the homepage, or in the most prominent position thoughout the directory as the highest bidder.

The design is unique and unavailable as a template for download. It is a paid request by Explorama Limited (our parent company) and designed by Velnet Web UK. BiddingDirectory.co.uk is powered by LinkBidScript.com, v1.01a.

By visiting the many links in the right column you can access resourceful posts and links about different link bid scripts available for free and paid usage.

Having a bidding directory could not be more easier. With excellent templates (resources found on our blog) you too could have your own bidding directory up and running in no time at all.

This template is designed by FriendlyDirectories.com and was our first installation of the phplb script. With simple editing in the design and CSS page we were able to give this design a more unique look and feel.

This is a default design and simple installation of PHP Link Bid. After installing our first PHPLB Script it was just a matter of copying the files over to the domain web space with new mySQL info before going live.
